doodlewear presents 'The Iconic Tui'  (April 2023bird tea towel by NZ Artist Sarah McAlpine Art. Made of 100% cotton, this high-quality decorative tea towel showcases a beautiful New Zealand Tui bird surrounded by lush green flora with a touch of pink. The artwork, digitally hand-drawn and signed, adds a vibrant touch to your kitchen decor.

The other day, I was asked if I had anything with a Tui on it. I replied, "Not really," but then I remembered that I had created an acrylic painting of a Tui for a local art show seven years ago! Tūīs are a subject that I have regularly drawn, although I had been avoiding revisiting this native bird until now. However, the idea was planted, and one night, I felt confident that I could capture the beauty of this attractive bird once again. In this design, I incorporated some other graphics.
