Quality 100% cotton large Tea Towels featuring 'Lemon Honey Crown Lynn Swan' (March 2024) Crown Lynn Swan vase tea towel by Contemporary New Zealand artist and doodlewear owner Anna Mollekin. These quality decorative tea towels feature an art print of digitally drawn artwork of a kōwhai and lemon arrangement in an iconic white New Zealand Crown Lynn Swan vase. The artist digitally signed it.
"I adore vintage items; they stir up such strong feelings of nostalgia. Among them, Crown Lynn Pottery holds a special place in my heart for its iconic and nostalgic charm. This fondness inspired me to arrange a bouquet of lemons and kōwhai in a vase, crafting a delightful yellow centrepiece. My goal was to capture joy, beauty, and the unique nostalgia associated with combining these two elements. The kōwhai flower, an emblem of New Zealand, brings forth summery vibes, while lemons evoke childhood memories, with many of us cherishing moments of picking them in the backyard and savouring homemade preserves, especially lemon honey gifted by our grandparents."
