doodlewear 'Red Admiral + Ngaio' (March 2023) art print Red Admiral Butterfly Tshirt which is a special collaboration between two of our talented doodlewear contributing artists, Lesh McNicholl of Lesh Creates and Penny Royal of Penny Royal Design. These high-quality t-shirts feature a contemporary yet retro-style art print of a Red Admiral Butterfly perched among the vibrant Ngaio flowers and berries. Penny illustrated the Red Admiral using watercolour, while Lesh skilfully depicted the ngaio flowers and berries using acrylic paint and an Indian ink pen. The artists have digitally signed this unique artwork.
"We both appreciate each other's art styles and had a strong desire to collaborate. With a plethora of art elements from our respective bodies of work, we carefully selected the ones that complemented each other the most.
