Doodlewear's 'In My Eyerolling Era' (March 2024) art print word sweatshirt, by New Zealand artist Penny Royal Design, features a high-quality, fun, and sarcastic depiction of flowers, leaves, and the phrase 'In My Eyerolling Era.' Inspired by teenage slang and Taylor Swift's Eras, this artwork was originally hand-drawn with a black pen on paper and later digitally coloured. The artist has digitally signed this piece.
"I was inspired one day when I wasn't feeling very happy, and I was around my teenager, so I created a bunch of artworks with sarcastic sayings. Anyone who has a teenager is familiar with eyerolling—either their own or their teenager's! Well, I am in my eyerolling era. Is a big eyeroll your go-to move? Is everything making you want to roll your eyes right out of your head?!"
