This high-quality t-shirt features a digitally hand-drawn illustrative art print of two iconic native birds of New Zealand, the Kea (alpine parrot), and the Ruru Owl, also known as a Morepork. The artwork is beautifully framed by New Zealand native Mount Cook buttercup flowers. This whimsical illustration, created in the style of woodcut prints, was digitally drawn and signed by the artists.
"The inspiration behind this NZ bird tshirt piece of artwork was a fanciful encounter between two artists' beloved New Zealand birds depicted as characters. Melina, also known as m_illustrate, drew her iconic character, a Kea wearing jandals (flip-flops), while Elaine illustrated her favourite New Zealand bird, the Ruru Owl, also known as a Morepork. The artists combined their unique drawing styles to create a stunning border of New Zealand native flowers, featuring a Mount Cook buttercup."
