Richmond Group Riding for the Disabled is a non-profit organisation. At NZRDA, it’s their goal to make a positive difference in local communities across New Zealand. They offer specialised therapeutic horse riding through a range of tailored programmes for people living with physical, intellectual, emotional and social challenges.
Melina is passionate about giving back to her community, particularly the ones dedicated to making a difference in so many people’s lives. "Both my children have had an opportunity to ride at the NZRDA in Richmond, Nelson. I want to help all these wonderfully dedicated staff and volunteers who so selflessly dedicate so much of their time and energy for the betterment of others. Nothing comes close to the joy horses bring!”
