"I have a soft spot for vintage treasures, especially Crown Lynn, which always brings a wave of nostalgia. This love inspired me to create a bouquet with mandarin and harakeke flax flowers in a vase, making a vibrant orange centerpiece. I wanted to capture the joy and beauty of these elements together. The harakeke represents New Zealand’s sunny vibes, while mandarins remind us of fond childhood memories, like picking them from our backyard trees. Growing up in Hamilton, we had a big mandarin harvest every winter, adding to the nostalgia."
